Today fax is still a fixed part in companies which are used to communicate by hybrid forms with clients, partners and suppliers of different business sizes and with heterogeneous IT structures. But in addition to fax, new channels of electronic communication were established (e-mail, EDI). As a consequence, sending faxes is mostly not connected with the electronic communication of a company. In that case, the fax becomes an isolated application for inhouse-use only which moreover is expensive in costs as well as in maintenance.


Applying i-effect^® *FAX, you may dispatch each and every print outputs of your system directly from IBM System i ( iSeries, AS400 ) comfortably as e-mail using a fax gateway that is integrated in your internet. Through consolidation of your communication network by internet fax (no modem, no data transmission interface, no telephone extension), you save the operating costs for facsimile devices and maintenance. Costs for separate fax lines are omitted. Particularly international fax transmission will be almost at no charge. The functionality of sending SMS is already included in i-effect^® *FAX.

The high performance internet provider ensures an above-average dispatch speed of your electronic fax. Start of transmission and receipt are almost simultaneously. Our technology partner Premiere Global Services guarantees a fax volume of more than one million pages per day for Germany. If capacity is reached, it relys automatically on lines of other countries.

With i-effect^® *FAX, there is no more need to frequent a facsimile. The forwarding and storage of fax is done as fast and easily as the dispatch and storage of e-mails. In combination with
i-effect^® *ZIP, you can administer sent faxes space-saving in a ZIP-archive and integrate them into your electronic document management.

With i-effect^® module *SERVER, all fax sending processes can be automated event-driven or according to a schedule, no matter if it is a regular bulk mailing or a single transmission. Regular and time-critical dispatching tasks are guaranteed, even if a sudden or longer shortage of staff occurs.
