SAP IDoc

By Gentran interface i-effect^® dispose of SAP IDoc functionality. By Gentran interface SAP IDOC definitions are extracted from a SAP system and exported into XML file. i-effect^® imports the XML directory definitions and add them to an internal directory.
IDoc (for intermediate document) is a standard data structure for electronic data interchange between application programs written for the SAP R/2 and R/3 business systems or between an SAP application and an external program.

The converter module *FLATFILE and *EDIFACT cover i-effect^®’s EDI conversion functionality. For EDI communication i-effect^® provides modules supporting EDIINT AS2, FTP, HTTP, SMTP (E-Mail), X.400 (Telebox) and OFTP protocol transfer.
