INFOSTORE - Auditing Secure archiving & DMS

i-effect^® *INFOSTORE is an interface for the DMS System InfoStore from Solitas AG. InfoStore is a fast, compact, and high performance electronic archive, storage, and document management system, which runs on the IBM System i.

InfoStore integrates storage and retrieval of many different document types and enables electronic archiving for the whole company.


Its modern, straightforward philosophy offers excellent configuration and integration possibilities for the execution of many different customer requirements. All documents from different systems are always available through the uniform user interface.
i-effect^® *INFOSTORE is a stack-based solution for efficient import and archiving of documents in InfoStore; it allows the storage of PC documents over standardized interfaces. A command prompt in i-effect^® allows the user to send data directly to the archive and extracts index points at the same time. Because of its integration into the whole of the i-effect^® environment all of the archive functions can be used in all modules. The archive files can be permanently stored in a read-only auditable format using i-effect^® *INFOSTORE.

As with all i-effect^® functions the archive functions are recorded in the central Logbook in chronological order, which enables monitoring of the importation process.

A key feature of i-effect^® *INFOSTORE is the ability to use other functions in conjunction with archiving. PDF or EDIFACT documents, which will be archived, can signed with a qualified electronic signature with the help of the *SIGG module.
