TELEBOX - Global Communication within The X.400 Network

Telebox is the mailbox system of T-Systems, the leading German service provider for information and communication technology. Formerly known as Telebox 400, BusinessMail X.400 is part of the category Value Added Network which provides a safe and solid information system alternatively to the internet.

BusinessMail X.400 is based upon X.400 standard which ensures a reliable electronic interchange of sensitive business data with partners within a world-wide communication network. The VAN service supports the store-and-forward mechanism: Incoming and outgoing EDI messages are stored and in a mailbox or rather fetched.

i-effect^® *TELEBOX is a native iSeries connector by which you can transmit your iSeries business data between X.400 systems via the BusinessMail X.400 service of T-Systems. Combined with EDI-converter *EDIFACT, i-effect^® *TELEBOX offers the communication component for your complete EDI solution on IBM System i5 (iSeries , AS/400). Of course, *TELEBOX can be combined with other i-effect^® modules, too.
