ZIP can be opened by any recipient

With i-effect^® *ZIP you can generate self-extracting archives in .exe format, thus the user does not need an own compression software to open the file.

Unzipping functions are included in i-effect^® at no charge, meaning i-effect^® can be installed at the recipient to extract received zip-archives without needing a license key. This way, iSeries spoolfiles and save files can be transferred to foreign or new systems without any problems. The data can be saved, re-built or spread space-saving over several systems.

All functions can be processed menu-controlled or completely automatically controlled with the module *SERVER: It makes the spool converter i-effect^® *SPOOL converting each spool entry regarding certain, definable attributes into PDF format. After having sent the PDF files with *EMAIL or *FAX to your clients, you take advantage of *ZIP to compress the PDF files you have generated and to write them in a ZIP archive. In combination with i-effect^® module *CRYPT, you can encrypt your ZIP archives using the AES standard and protect them against unauthorized access.
