TCP/IP
At least one IP address (127.0.0.1)and its corresponding host name("LOCALHOST" , "LOOPBACK")
must be entered in the TCP/IP host table. Errors can occur, when the module is started if no entry is present.
Important:
If security software (e.g. Raz-Lee, PCSACC/400, BSAFE, or others) is in use on your System i it may cause i-effect® not to function or not to function properly. It is important, because of this, that the appropriate authority be given to the user IEFFECT (Database, TCP/IP, file systems IFS and DB2, and authorities for user classes). Consult the documentation included in your security solution.
Note: EDI Descriptions / XSD:
Standard UN-EDIFACT format descriptions are included with i-effect® software maintenance; any others can be obtained by the customer for a fee within menten's range of services. An existing customer XSD can be used for i-effect® *XML. For further information please contact our sales team.
