
Bergisch Gladbach Oct/10/2008 – Customers wanting to update to IBM i (6.1) should test their software to see if it supports the new operating system. The good news: the new i-effect® release V1R5 and all of its modules are compatible with IBM i (6.1).

“Our developers have successfully completed the IBM i 6.1 tests“, explained CEO Ralph Menten. “i-effect® can now also be used with IBM i (6.1).“
”For four weeks the new Release i-effect® V1R5 was tested for compatibility with a variety of different tests. Not only was the total compatibility tested, but it was also determined that conversion and communication performance and capacity were improved“ Menten further explained.
With i-effect® V1R5 all components of i-effect® are approved for IBM i (6.1). Without any changes to i-effect®, users can update to the new operating system. V1R5 will be released on the 20th of October.
